Blood Feast Remake Gets Limited Theatrical Release This April.

The Blood Feast remake that everyone was raving about in 2016 is officially headed to select theaters on April 28th courtesy of Medallion Releasing, a branch of the firm that brought you Boggy Creek and Humans vs. Zombies. A full theater list has yet to be finalized, but this is one special screening that you certainly don’t want to miss. The Blood Feast remake is definitely one of the better horror remakes out there and this is your chance to see it in theaters before it heads to DVD and VOD.

Written by Philip Lilienschwarz and directed by Marcel Walz based off of the original 1963 movie by Herschell Gordon Lewis, Blood Feast (2017) stars Robert Rusler (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2), Caroline Williams (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Sophie Monk (The Hills Run Red), Sadie Katz (Wrong Turn 6) and Roland Freitag.

Synopsis: “Fuad Ramses and his family have moved from the United States to France, where they run an American diner. Since business is not going too well, Fuad also works night shifts in a museum of ancient Egyptian culture. During these long, lonely nights he becomes allured by goddess Ishtar as she speaks to him in visions. Eventually he succumbs to her deadly charms. After this pivotal night, Fuad begins a new life, in which murder and cannibalism become his daily bread. As butchered bodies are heaped upon the Altar of Ishtar, Fuad slowly slips further into madness, until he is no more than the goddess’s puppet…”
