As someone who has founded multiple businesses, entrepreneurship runs in my blood. At the age of 15, I created software using Dbase III and clipper as programming language, which I sold to a very large hospital. After finishing college at the age of 21 with BS in MIS, I began working for a software development company in Guernsey Channel Islands as a COBOL programmer, where I was involved in Software Systems Support for PC based banking software. With roots in starting my career as a programmer and systems analyst, I have been fortunate to have worked with major companies like Chase Bank, and top brands such as Google, Oracle, Novell, Microsoft, Radio Shack, and Motorola to name a few. While my career started as a software developer, I entered the space of digital marketing during the very early stages in 1995 in the Cayman islands where I began developing online marketing solutions. Building a website for the Bank of Butterfield Banking Conference, helping the Cayman Islands’ BWM, and putting the Cayman Islands Customs and Immigration as well as the Cayman Islands Economics and Statistics office online were part of my humble beginnings. In 2005, I was nominated by a leading newspaper in the Cayman Islands as a leading web developer there. During my stay in the Cayman Islands, I served for 4 years as a Adjust Associate Professor or Finance and Economics where I lectured both Undergrad and Gradlevel courses in Marketing, Economics, Risk Management, Financial Management,Computer Science. On the ERP side, I have consulted and managed various ERP and MRP projects forvarious companies using various Oracle, Peoplesoft, Accurasoft applications for big name brands such as: Cummings Natural Gas Engines, Network Hardware, The Gulf Coast MHMR, Tri-County Houston, BB&T Bank Florida (formally Bank Atlantic). On September 12, 2004, after near death experience in which I survived 18 hours in Hurricane IVAN, I was rescued by a friend who helped me to gain a new lease of life. Nine years ago the eye of Hurricane Ivan passed 21 miles southwest of Grand Cayman, leaving in its wake two people dead and millions of dollars in damages. DzIvan had winds of 150mph with gusts of 220mph that produced a maddening, screeching noise that people endured for days. Ivan's hurricane-force winds extended 70 miles from its center and tropical storm force winds extended 175 miles from the center, which meant the storm spread 350 miles across.dzIn 2004, I forged ahead in the wake of the destruction and founded 1 VIZABILITY, a Dallas, TX SEO / Digital marketing company. Over the course of 9 years, I helped grow 1 VIZABILITY into a major player within the SEO and online marketing industry.
