About the Author

Tony Amaradio is the president and chief strategist of Select Portfolio Management, Inc. He has devoted much of his time to nonprofit organizations, helping major donors become more effective and efficient with their stewardship responsibilities. Tony's wife, Carin, is the chief compliance officer for Select Portfolio Management, Inc. and its broker dealer, Securities Equity Group. She shares Tony's passion to empower and encourage others in the area of faithful living and faithful giving.

Tony and Carin frequently speak at conferences around the country, sharing personal experiences as well as technical advice regarding charitable giving techniques. They have called Southern California home since 1987. Tony and Carin are blessed with three beautiful daughters and eight adorable grandchildren.

Tony and Carin have also developed a certified teaching curriculum in the area of financial stewardship called “Faithful with Finances” which is available to Christian schools, churches, leaders, and even to the general public.

It seems more useful if the reader has already started a journey of giving and wants to take it to the next level because it offers practical templates that you can use to establish a legacy of giving. All in all it challenges the reader to put deeper thought into how we can be better stewards of finances, which is a topic that is very useful in today's world

Tony and Carin Amaradio's book is the best I've read--and I've read a lot of them--re why and how people can or should be generous. It's a matter of knowing and trusting God. Their book is interesting and easy to read, grounded properly in a biblical theology of stewardship, and best of all, highly credible. The credibility shines through in the Amaradios' personal story and their own giving commitments. While this book is a natural for those with much wealth, I highly recommend it for all readers no matter the size of their bank account, because we all have something to give, even if not a lot, and what ultimately matters is the attitude of our heart, not the amount of our gift. For non-profit organizations: get this book for your donors.

This book was such an inspiration. Hearing from someone at a different stage in their life & wealth only gave me hope and encouragement for my future. Whatever amount I'm able to give, I know the Lord will honor it. Tony & Carin Amaradio's story is touching, and they've been through the highs and lows that every Christian must experience. Their words and advice come from a place of true experience and "walking the walk". Highly recommend this, a GREAT story of stewardship!
