The World Cup of Hockey has brought Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews together on the same team for North America, and for that, we are grateful.
The pair combined for a sweet goal Monday against Russia. McDavid led the break and he connected with the No. 1 pick, Matthews, for a nifty one-timer.

ESPN hasn’t broadcasted the NHL since 2004, but they scored the World Cup rights. Hockey fans won’t mind watching more replays like that.
