About Us

Prior to founding HudsonWest, Barry spent a decade as an equity derivatives attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell, the world’s premier law firm in the equity-linked space, in New York.

 

While at Davis Polk, Barry advised on nearly $100 billion of equity-linked transactions.

 

Barry received his B.S. in Economics from Duke University, magna cum laude, and his J.D. from New York University School of Law.

 

Barry has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder since 2015 and holds his FINRA Series 7, 24, 28 and 63 licenses.

Prior to joining HudsonWest, Nico spent over 11 years advising clients and structuring various equity-linked solutions at BNP Paribas in New York.


Nico has helped secure successful outcomes for his clients on over $40 billion in convertible bookrunner roles, tens of billions of dollars of accelerated share repurchases and over $50 billion in at-the-market equity offerings.


Nico received his B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, and his M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.


Nico holds his FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.

Fred’s equity-linked career has spanned 35 years, over which he led two separate origination teams at Merrill Lynch and BNP Paribas in New York, before joining HudsonWest.

 

As one of the industry’s most experienced and creative client advisors, Fred has overseen the structuring, distribution and sales and trading efforts for clients across hundreds of convertible and other equity-linked transactions in all industry verticals.

 

Fred received his B.S. in Accounting in 1981 from Syracuse University and holds his FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses. Fred is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
