How It works

Assess Patient Condition

If medical assistance is required (in non 9-11 situations), and no provider is available on-site, iDocsWeb may be used to assist treatment.

Determine if a Provider is Needed

Take Device to Bedside

Log in, select patient, and the patient’s provider & family member information is retrieved from EMR. You may also connect to a Specialist, NP/PA, or DON/Administrator.

Access the iDocsWeb Portal

Request Consultation

The status bar tracks the progress of the request. Alerts are received when the provider sees the request and is ready to join the session. Approved family may also be invited.

The Telemedicine Request is Sent

Provider Connects

HD video, and digital medical instruments aid assement. Providers may request close-ups, listen to heart & lungs, as well as invite a Specialist to determine treatment plan.

Patient is Assessed Remotely

Care Plan Established

The provider will assist the nurse in administering treatment at the patient’s bedside. A treatment plan is established to reduce future risk of hospitalization.

Nurse Administers Treatment in Place

Encounter Is Documented

Upon completetion of the encounter, providers are able to complete a SOAP Note to store in patient records. The record may be sent to EMR as well as submitted for billing.
