Specimen Required: | Collect: Stool in a Sterile Container (NO PRESERVATIVE) – 2 g. Specimen Preparation: Collect small amount of fecal material and place into screw top Sterile Container. Storage/Transport Temperature: Refrigerated. Stability: Refrigerated/Frozen: 48 hours Causes For Rejection: Specimens beyond their acceptable length of time from collection as listed in the specimen handling, or specimen types other than those listed.
