Don Forman: The Philanthropist Who's Helping Make the World a Better Place

His generosity and empathy know no bounds. Forman's collaboration with the Fox5 Surprise Squad has seen him surprise people from all walks of life with a helping hand. Don Forman first partnered with the Fox5 Surprise Squad in 2014. Since its inception, the group together with the members have carried out over 500 philanthropic acts that have brought tears of joy and smiles to hundreds of residents in the Las Vegas Valley.

There's a long list of life-changing deeds that the Fox5 Surprise Squad and Don Forman have done for the community including gifting a young woman who volunteered to accompany an autistic boy to his homecoming after being rejected by others. The young lad was given by the group an educational scholarship.

Earlier on in the year, the businessman gave out a check of $10,000 to Gibson Middle School. The donation was meant to help students realize their dream of pursuing higher education, together with competing nationally and internationally in the robotics competitions. The kids at the Middle School had won the state championship in robotics; unfortunately, they lacked the funds required to compete at the world championships. Mr. Forman stepped in by cutting a check which was presented to Ms. Jablon, the class teacher. The elated students could barely conceal their excitement as they rejoiced and cried overwhelmed with such an act of generosity.

After the worst mass shooting in American history, Mr. Forman assisted the Las Vegas community in a number of ways. His United Nissan dealership offered residents who wanted to donate blood to the victims, free rides. His charitable and philanthropic work further helped the families and residents of Las Vegas heal in several ways. This included working closely with the law enforcement to put up crosses at the site and making huge monetary donations. Don Forman formed community outreach programs and interacted with the victims and families to help them overcome the tragedy. Mr. Forman wholly embodied the spirit of selflessness by helping the Las Vegas community overcome the senseless tragedy.
