Decentralized Identity

Decentralized Identity (DID) has revolutionized the authoritarian identity mechanism by restoring ownership of identity to users. Verifiable Credential

The W3C’s “Verifiable Credential Data Model” was created to manage the entire life cycle of credentials. Blockchain technology is utilized to store Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), public keys, and the credential definition, without accessing any sensitive information. With this system, the credential holder maintains complete control over their data throughout the issuance and verification process.

Self-Sovereign Identity
