There was collaboration and inspiration by the bucket load at our Pan-European HR Virtual Summit! 🎊 In November, HR leaders and franchise partners from across KFC Europe came together for an incredible day of learning, sharing, and strategising at the Pan-European HR Summit. It was an amazing opportunity for us all to hear and align on our priorities, explore new ideas, and strengthen connections within our HR community. There were COOs, CPOs, MDs and loads of other amazing KFC team members talking all things HR strategy, Employer Branding excellence, DE&I, social purpose, industry trends and so much more (told you it was by the bucket load). We want to say a huge KFC thank you to everyone who came along and took part, especially our incredible speakers, panellists, and teams who made this event possible. Together, we’re shaping a stronger future for our people and our brand. And the ball is well and truly rolling. #TheOriginals

Christmas is all about giving, so we’re taking part in two fundraising events to help people in need this holiday season.🎁 First on the list and for the third year running, we’re collaborating with Swiss Post, Swiss TV/Radio Srf, Coop and Swiss Red Cross to help people affected by poverty in Switzerland. From the 24 December to 18 January, we’re collecting food and hygiene products at our store, so if you want to contribute, we’d love to see you come along! Next on the Christmas list is our second Blood Donation of the year. In partnership with Interregional Blood Transfusion SRC Ltd, we’re inviting people to come on down to Avenue de Rhodanie on 19 December from 10am to 3pm, to donate blood. Everyone and anyone can sign up, just take the health check to see if you can donate safely and join us. You’ll *literally* be a life saver🧑⚕️

We took “bring your kids to work day” and turned it up a notch last month. 💼 Our Journée Oser tous les Métiers (JOM) initiative – held in Canton Vaud – saw some excited students from grades 7 to 9 join the team for a day. JOM aims to raise awareness of various career paths, breaking gender stereotypes and changing the narrative for the next generation. So basically, we help set these future CEOs and CFOs (and all the other abbreviations) up for greatness. 📚 This JOM saw six amazing kids experience 8 different departments through mini-sessions, a delicious KFC lunch, and even a Chicken Olympics to top it all off.🏆 What a day. We can’t wait to welcome more youngsters in the next one! #TheOriginals #JOM

As caterers by nature with a pride for helping those in need, it’s only right that we do our bit to help those affected by the flooding in Valencia. We joined forces with World Central Kitchen, to provide nutritious meals to the communities in the impacted areas. As well as our initial donation of €10,000, for every euro raised on our website we’ll match it to continue to support WCK and the affected people of Valencia further. By working together, we can do more for those in need ❤️

October may have been the month of tricks, but we had a real treat celebrating Global Diversity Month. This global initiative, created by Yum!, encouraged all of our Pan-Europe teams to participate in a range of organised events, training, and activities to shine a light on diversity and inclusivity, and their importance at KFC. Among other events, our highlights included: 1. An Inclusive Leadership Training This gave our Restaurant Support Centres, Western Europe Business Unit, and Central & Eastern Europe teams an insight into what inclusive leadership should (and does) look like. This year, we're aiming to train as many of our team leaders as possible, to continue improving our business for everyone. 2. KFC EIB Neurodiversity Program For Global Diversity Month, our EIB Program ran a session on Neurodiversity, focusing on ADHD. This gave our teams information on how to support and understand others who are neurodiverse, whilst also showing those with ADHD how they can find the help they need to reach their potential. ❤️ Throughout the year we’ll continue hosting amazing events to celebrate all things diversity and inclusion, and how it makes KFC, KFC, and our people, The Originals. 🎉WE HAVE A WINNER! 🎉 We told you about all the delicious, burger-based finalists of our 2024 Taste Challenge, but now it’s time to reveal the winning country, team and their fabulous burger. *Drumroll please* 🥁 Jennifer from KFC Lancy, with the Filletzerller Burger. The ingredients were a brioche bun with aioli, arugula, fillet and appenzeller cheese. It was here that we met a whole load of students, helping them get to know us, our values, and our culture.
