In 2022, we set a world record with the University of Tennessee's ā€œGood Sports Always Give Backā€ program by recycling 38,452 pounds of waste. This year, we challenged the University of Michigan, pitting Neyland Stadium against The Big House. Tennessee fans competed to recycle the most game day waste in a single day, resulting in an impressive 44,950 pounds of waste recycled. Our achievement included recycling plastic, aluminum, paper, cardboard, wooden pallets, composting and food donations. This collective effort is making a significant impact by keeping materials out of landfills and contributing to a greener, cleaner future. Fans from both schools made history by diverting a combined 85,211 pounds of game day waste from landfills.
