🌟 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 🌟   Our report highlights the commitment we have to sustainability and innovation within the global food chain. This year we celebrated our (delayed) 50-year anniversary and reflected on what we achieved so far, but, at the same time, looked forward at the potential that is still out there to be unlocked.   Some of our 2023 highlights are: ✅ Our contributions to the SDGs and the progress we continue to make with our sustainability efforts. ✅  The launch of our digital multi-stakeholder platform, Interfood Connect. ✅  The continued expansion and renovation of our facilities worldwide, ensuring all Interfood offices are a great place to work. ✅ A strong financial performance as we continue to build our value adding capabilities.   We are working towards a more sustainable and responsible future for our food supply together with all of our partners and colleagues globally. Does sustainability drive retention? 🌱 Three quarters (76%) of staff say they are more likely to stay in a job for longer if their employer makes a positive environmental and societal impact. Jonny Lockett, sustainability consultant to Pizza Pilgrims shared how they have embedded sustainability in their company strategy... "Until you get teams on side, you don't really go anywhere - so if you can show that we're working towards a singular goal, conversations become a lot easier. At Pizza Pilgrims we’ve made sustainability the fourth strategic pillar, so now it's challenged at board level and put on the management KPIs, as part of our efforts to maintain our B Corp status. We've developed a purpose alongside this, which helps to align all our teams behind this shared goal."
