We are excited to welcome Dr. Robin Stone to IVP! She joins us as Medical Director at Advanced Veterinary Care of Pasco! Realizing her dream of becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Stone received her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 after completing her clinical year at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Akron where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Stone was born and raised in Ohio and has spent most of her professional career there. With over 30 years of experience, she is passionate about veterinary medicine and believes strongly in the importance of the human-animal bond. Before veterinary school she spent many years as a veterinary nurse and practice manager, working in general practice and emergency medicine. She followed a similar path after graduation and has held positions as an emergency clinician, general practitioner, and medical director. In addition to practicing, she has a passion for teaching and has taught several classes in veterinary technology. In her free time, Dr. Stone enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and an ever-expanding number of fur babies. She loves woodworking, reading, and seeing a good theatre performance.
