    Cork Internet eXchange is a hyper energy-efficient data center based in Cork, Ireland.

    It was co-founded between 2006-2008 and during that time, as well as helping with the design, with my background in social media, I led the open-sourcing of the design, using blogs, Flickr, video etc.

    This was unique, because, not only we we using leading edge techniques to make the data center hyper energy-efficient, we were telling everyone how we were doing this. No-one had open-sourced a…
