Proper patient positioning is easy and efficient, with minimal physical strain for the clinician when using the chair. Locking wheels and adjustable positioning ensure the patient is in a fixed position close to the machine at the proper height and secured in a slight forward-facing position, maximizing the available breast area and allowing the patient to relax. For MLO Images
You’ll find that a VELA Mammography Chair makes the task easier. Simply fold one armrest down before you push the chair and patient toward the machine for optimum positioning at the machine, even if it’s tilted. The central brake ensures the optimal position is maintained for the duration of the examination.
