About us
Last Mile Education Fund increases diversity in tech by providing grants to under-represented college students pursuing tech-related degrees and careers. Funding is available for 2-year & 4-year students enrolled at a U.S. institution. Grants can be used to cover expenses such as a new laptop device, groceries, car repairs , or even an unexpected medical bill. Awards are available year-round, as funding sources are available and as eligibility requirements are met.

Losing driven, high-potential talent due to non-academic obstacles like rent, car repairs and lost work harms all of us. At Last Mile Education Fund we aim to level the playing field for what we term 'striving students' - those that are working hard to complete their technology degrees, but facing financial obstacles to persistence and completion. Join me and these amazing Last Mile alumni Corina Salas, Devonie DeLaney, Alexander Smith, and Beteab Tefera to hear first hand how modest sums delivered quickly and with abundance can have an outsized impact on the life of a student.
