    📣 Attention stat junkies.. The latest report from Collabstr taps into data from 35,000 brands and 80,000 US-based influencers. The analysis presents a detailed look at how influencer marketing continues to evolve, grow and take shape. Lets unpack - 🔍 The influencer marketing industry is on a trajectory to hit a market size of $19.8 billion in 2024 - this is a 13% climb from $17.4 billion in 2023. This uptick is part of a broader growth forecast, predicting a 133% expansion from 2020 to 2025, with the global creator economy expected to soar from $127.65 billion 🤪 in 2023 to $528.39 billion by 2030. 💪 Women are leading the charge, representing 70% of the influencer profiles analyzed. This highlights the significant impact female creators have in shaping the influencer marketing economy as a whole. 🤳 Instagram and TikTok are the platforms of choice (not surprisingly), each with over 42% of paid collaborations; YouTube surprisingly trails with a mere 2% share. This split showcases either dominance ie; TikTok and Instagram.... OR, untapped opportunity with YouTube? Fun debate, nonetheless. 👉 User-Generated Content (UGC) is emerging as the reigning king. Over half of the creator profiles are now offering UGC services to brands, with a 93% increase in 2023 alone. With the UGC market projected to expand from $4.7 billion in 2022 to $71.3 billion by 2032, it's clear that authentic, real-world endorsements have become the new, normal.     Gen Z's 🧡 AI? In a recent Axios study, a spotlight highlights Gen Z's unique relationship with artificial intelligence (AI), particularly generative AI (GAI) technologies such as ChatGPT and DALL-E Open Ai. This demo, often referred to as "AI natives," demonstrates a comfort and keen interest in how AI can be integrated into their educational and career paths. My insights from the report as follows: 🏄♂️ Generational Embrace of AI: Gen Z's enthusiasm for AI contrasts sharply with the cautious approach of older generations. This demographic is significantly more inclined to learn AI skills, with their likelihood to do so being 1.6 times that of Boomers and 1.1 times that of Gen X, illustrating a generational shift in the perception and adoption of AI technologies. 🗣 Proactive Engagement in AI Education: The report highlights a surge in GAI course enrollments among Gen Z, pointing to a strategic approach towards future-proofing their careers. With a third of this year's seniors and over half of tech majors planning to use GAI in their professional lives, the data underscores the importance Gen Z places on AI in shaping their career trajectories. ✍ AI's Integral Role in Career Development: More than half of the graduating class of 2024 is preparing to enter the workforce with AI as a key component of their skill set. This readiness to adapt and innovate with AI tools is a testament to Gen Z's proactive stance on embracing technology for career advancement. 👍 Optimism Amidst AI's Disruptive Potential: Despite potential disruptions to traditional job sectors by AI, Gen Z remains optimistic about the technology's impact on their career prospects. This optimism is supported by their active pursuit of AI knowledge and skills, positioning them to navigate the changing job landscape effectively. 👁 Strategic Acquisition of AI Skills for Career Enhancement: The noticeable increase in professionals adding GAI-related skills to their LinkedIn profiles indicates a growing recognition of AI's value in the job market.
