History and Mission

Ashland Community Kitchen has been serving the people of Ashland and the surrounding area since 1982. What began as a humble effort to provide three lunches a week at Calvary Episcopal Church has grown into a vital community resource providing food to those in need. Today, we serve breakfast and lunch five days a week and dinner four nights a week — providing over 5,000 meals each month. In addition to prepared meals, we also operate a food pantry that distributes food boxes monthly.

Our mission is simple: To be a place “where no one goes hungry.”
