The Education Fund of the Women’s Forum provides financial awards for women in New York City, over 35, pursuing their first college degrees. Each year we distribute $200,000 dollars to deserving women to assist them in completing their education and career goals.
*In 2023 women made up on average, 33% of corporate board members.
The Women's Forum Corporate Board Initiative advocates for raising the number of women on corporate boards, by providing programming to prepare female executives for board service and a database accessible to any search firm, of CEO sponsored, board ready women.

The Women’s Forum of New York is the founding forum that has grown into a global network of women leaders. Members enjoy reciprocal membership under the umbrella of the International Women’s Forum which is comprised of 76 Global Forums with over 8,000 members.
Since its creation in 1987, the Education Fund has raised over $2 million, enabling women whose lives have been disrupted by extreme adversity to return to school and complete their education.
The Corporate Board Initiative addresses gender parity in the boardroom, by highlighting those who have led by example, and providing a database of CEO Nominated, Board-Ready Women.
Forum Programs share the unique insights, access and experience of our members. By leveraging our connections, we create a diverse mix of in-depth programs that educate, empower, enlighten and entertain.
