The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families that must travel at least 30 miles to seek medical treatment for their child. They offer parents and family members of seriously ill and injured children a refuge from the hospital. 🚨 Attention Employers: U.S. Dept. of Labor raises FLSA's Annual Salary Level Threshold! With this increase in the salary level threshold, here is what employers must do to stay compliant: 📅 Decide whether to raise the salary of exempt employees to meet the new threshold (by July 1st and then again January 1st) ⏰ If you do not increase, be prepared to pay OT for any hours worked over 40 hours 💬 Careful consideration, communication, and possibly training needed for managers delivering the message to employees that may be reclassified to nonexempt from exempt 🔄 The DOL also will automatically increase the overtime threshold every three years.
