In 2024, the Denvalco team proudly partnered with FareShare to make a difference in our community.  FareShare UK redistributes quality surplus food from the industry to frontline charities and groups supporting vulnerable people. 🌍 Introducing Food Rangers: Connecting Communities Through Food Donation I’m excited to share my latest project, Food Rangers, a platform designed to bridge the gap between generous donors and local NGOs dedicated to fighting hunger. How It Works: Easy Submission: Users visit the website and fill out a simple form to submit their food donations. Local NGO Connection: The details are sent to nearby NGOs, who then reach out for confirmation. Confirmation Tracking: Once the NGO confirms the donation,ngo tick a box to ensure their request was addressed. Additionally, we feature a real-time hunger death counter, highlighting the urgent need for action in our communities. By streamlining the donation process, Food Rangers aims to make a tangible impact on food insecurity. Together, we can create a more connected and compassionate world. This project was both fun and saddening. Over 1000 children told us why food is important to them. Many showed us that systemic #hunger issues are recognized even at such a young age.
