Random conversations the other day with partners on approaches centred on solving social issues ended with an argument on whether social movements are still the in thing.My opinion?YES. I was taken back to the recently completed United Nations Civil Society Conference in which social movements was a focal point. As a leader in the movement to end Female Genital Mutilation,the power of unity and collective action is key in the fight towards the abandonment of retrogressive cultural practices. Why? 📢Unity Amplifies Impact: When we stand together with a shared purpose, our influence grows exponentially. Social movements allow us to unite our voices and efforts to combat FGM, supporting survivors and impacted communities every step of the way. 📢Youth as Agents of Change: As young leaders, our voices hold immense power.Being part of a network with like minded young people allows us to drive meaningful change and inspire others to join the cause. 📢Global Collaboration: FGM is a global issue that requires a coordinated response. Universalized transformative powers swiftly take actions to transformative engagement of every individual of the world to make those abusing power and resources accountable and never allow any imposition and discrimination, monopolizing decision and power in any corner of our world. The transformative ideas evolves transformative hears, eyes and institutions to hear and see millions victimized by the growing neglect and marginalization on our contemporary world. Transformative power becomes lively through transformative decision and action to protect people and its ecosystem from any form of harms. Transformative decision creates transformative partnership and transformative engagement that enable everybody is empowered to contribute to peaceful co-existence, sharing resource and power to sustain equality, wellbeing and ecosystem. Transformative partnership evolves transformative indictors to monitor our world is functioning in peace, equality and brother and sisterhood. Transformative idea survive and progressing in the transformative culture and transformative institution and transformative values in which all world citizens learn and grow to shift and sustain the power and relationship consistently controlling and preventing the idea, practice and survival of discrimination, imposition, neglect and marginalization deteriorating human race in our contemporary world. Transformative idea shift the effort and commitment of resources owned by individuals, groups and institution to safeguard peace and solidarity, realize the rights of others to the protection of human rights and values. Transformative idea evolves and nurtures the transformative decision, actions, results, monitoring and supporting the transformative life and society to safe and equal world not to suffer by the world assets, resources and power. 

The second wave of the End GBVF 100-Day Challenges has wrapped up in spectacular fashion, once again proving its power to accelerate the movement to end Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) in South Africa! From equipping students to champion GBVF awareness on campuses and mobilizing thousands through massive campaigns, to launching safehouses for women and children, empowering 1,200 women entrepreneurs, reducing court case withdrawals, and using the drama and arts to ignite community action - these bold, localized projects are driving real, measurable change. This year alone, 137 challenges have addressed systemic GBV issues across diverse sectors, breaking new ground and inspiring hope for a GBVF-free future. On Tuesday, 10 December 2024, the Cycle Two Close-Out Celebration brought together 100-Days teams, NSP-Pillar Conveners, government leaders, and program supporters. It was a day to reflect, celebrate, and share incredible stories of triumph and impact. The voices we heard reminded us of the extraordinary outcomes we can achieve when we unite with passion and purpose. The movement is gaining momentum, and we’re excited to see how it continues to reshape South Africa’s story in this important mission to end GBVF once and for all.
