What is this about?

If you received an email or letter from Mission Bank informing you that your sensitive personal information was compromised in a data breach, you may be entitled to compensation. What Happened?

On December 2, 2024, Mission Bank became aware of a security incident on its IT Network. Mission Bank launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third-party gained access to Mission Bank’s IT Network and compromised sensitive personal information of individuals.

Mission Bank then launched a comprehensive review of the incident to identify the exact type of information compromised as well identify the individuals affected in the incident. On December 28, 2024, the review was completed. On December 31, 2024, Mission Bank issued a public disclosure and started sending out notice letters and emails to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following sensitive personal information may have been compromised in the data breach incident:

• First name,
• Last name,
• Social Security number, and
• Financial account information.
