What is this about?

If you recently received an email or letter from the Garden of Life, LLC (“Garden of Life”) concerning a data breach, you may be entitled to compensation. Garden of Life recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that may have compromised the sensitive information of thousands of individuals.

What Happened?

On December 18, 2024, Garden of Life discovered a security incident on its IT Network. In response, Garden of Life launched an investigation and engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the data breach. On December 18, 2024, Garden of Life’s investigation concluded that an unknown third party gained access to the software that its website uses to collect payment card information for online purchases in July 2024. Garden of Life conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was compromised and how many individuals were impacted. On January 17, 2025, Garden of Life issued a notice with the Office of the Maine Attorney General and began sending notice letters to impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive information may have been compromised as a result of the data breach:

• Name,
• Address,
• Email address, and
• Credit or debit card numbers, expiration dates, and card value verification (CVV) numbers.
