What is this about?

If you received an email or letter from Teton Orthopaedics (“Teton”) informing you that your sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised in a data breach, you may be entitled to compensation. Teton recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that compromised individuals’ sensitive personal and protected health information.

What Happened?

On or about March 25, 2024, Teton became aware of a security incident on its IT Network. Teton launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third-party gained access to Teton’s IT Network between January 16, 2024 and March 5, 2024.

Teton then launched a comprehensive review of the incident to identify the exact type of information compromised as well as identify the individuals impacted by the incident. The review determined that individuals sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised in the data breach. On December 13, 2024, Teton issued a public disclosure and started sending out notice letters and emails to affected individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following sensitive information may have been compromised in the data breach:

• Name,
• Social Security number,
• Address,
• Date of birth,
• Driver’s license or government identification numbers,
• Passport number,
• Financial account information,
• Payment card information,
• Medical information, and
• Health insurance information.
