Proud to share our first Trainee Service Day at the Gruft, a Caritas shelter in Vienna! 💪🏻 Our Graduate Trainees prepared and served 150 meals for people experiencing homelessness. This initiative allowed us to extend our impact beyond professional development while strengthening our teamwork skills. ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA España visited the office of Kapsch TrafficCom in Bilbao, Spain. Erkin Toraman, Agregado Comercial, met with our colleagues Ramón Fuentes and Ioseba Peña Ceánuri, who presented the Kapsch business and successfully implemented projects in Spain. One of the most recent in northern Spain, the Bizkaia Connected Corridor on the A8 highway near Bilbao, uses C-ITS technology to allow vehicles and infrastructure to communicate with each other. By providing real-time information on road and traffic conditions, such as traffic warnings, alerts for dangerous areas, and congestion updates, the corridor makes travel safer and more reliable. On March 21, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the 4th year of the Civil Engineering Degree at the University of La Laguna, as well as students from the 1st year of the Intermediate Vocational Training Program in Railway Rolling Stock Maintenanceat CIFP La Laguna. The day began with a visit to the Control Center, where they learned first-hand about the daily operations and the traffic control systemcurrently in place in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Afterwards, we continued the tour at the Kapsch TrafficCom Transportation facilities, where we had prepared several theoretical and practical workshops. The students were able to explore the infrastructure and technologies used in the traffic management, access control, and urban security systems deployed throughout the city. It was a special day that brought students closer to the real-world challenges of urban mobility and traffic management. We would like to thank the students and their teachers for their interest, as well as the team from the Mobility Department of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council for joining us in this initiative. #KapschTrafficCom #urbanmobility #trafficmanagement
