What is this about?

If you recently received a letter or an email from H2O.ai (“H2O”) informing you that your sensitive personal information was compromised in a data breach, you may be entitled to compensation. H2O recently disclosed that it was the victim of a data breach that exposed individuals’ sensitive personal information.

What Happened?

On February 18, 2025, H2O.ai became aware that a financially motivated group claimed to have stolen its data. In response, H2O.ai launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cyber security experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized third party accessed and potentially acquired sensitive personal information, including data belonging to H2O.ai's employees, between December 20, 2024, and January 29, 2025. H2O.ai conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information had been exposed and identify affected individuals. On March 27, 2025, H2O.ai filed a notice with the Attorney General of Massachusetts and began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.

What Information Was Impacted?

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:

• Names,
• Social Security numbers,
• Address,
• Date of birth,
• Driver’s license number,
• Payroll information, and
• Benefit enrollment information
