Thursday, 11 March 2021 11:15 AM

Custom software provider B-Three Solutions praised in reviews as the firm develops a mobile application for United Steelworkers Tony Mazzocchi Center.

PITTSBURGH, PA / ACCESSWIRE / March 11, 2021 /Selected by United Steelworkers to develop an expenses-tracking mobile application, B-Three Solutions recently unveiled its responsive, custom-built creation too much fanfare. Resulting in just one of a number of glowing, all-new B-Three Solutions reviews, the trade union praised the Pennsylvania-based software provider's team for its service, professionalism, and attention to detail.

"B-Three Solutions was selected by the United Steelworkers union to develop a responsive web application," explains a member of the B-Three Solutions team, speaking from the custom software provider's headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The app needed to allow employees to track travel and training expenses and then submit them to management for reimbursement.

United Steelworkers is a trade union of more than 1.2 million members located across North America. The association commissioned B-Three Solutions to design and build a responsive mobile application for its Tony Mazzocchi Center for Health, Safety, and Environmental Education.

B-Three Solutions reports that the user-facing app was written in React Native before being published to a PWA-responsive web application and both Android and iOS native apps. React Native is a framework used to develop applications for various mobile devices, the web, and Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform.

"React allowed us to employ its popular framework along with native platform capabilities to achieve precisely what United Steelworkers was looking for," B-Three Solutions reveals. "With a PWA-responsive web application and native Android and iOS apps each sought by the client, all three were built using just one set of source code."

The backend application programming interface that powers these applications, meanwhile, was built using ASP.NET Core 3.1 Web API, according to B-Three Solutions.

Only recently unveiled, the application in its various guises has already received rave reviews from users. The same is true of B-Three Solutions' service as rendered to United Steelworkers and those at its Tony Mazzocchi Center in the urban downtown heart of Pittsburgh.

"B-Three Solutions provided an excellent service when it came to building a new tracking system for our organization. When each phase of the project was complete, they would prepare a detailed walkthrough of all of the accomplishments that were made during that phase. These walkthroughs highlighted their attention to detail when it came to our needs," says a United Steelworkers representative.

They continue: "B-Three conducted themselves with complete professionalism when explaining new parts of the project and requesting feedback from our organization so that they could satisfy our needs completely."

"When an item needed to be updated or changed from the original plan, we were able to talk this through with B-Three and collaborate to resolve these issues," adds United Steelworkers' representative.

"B-Three administered a friendly, professional, and completely smooth experience, and we're thrilled to continue an ongoing relationship with them," they conclude, wrapping up just one of many recently received five-star B-Three Solutions reviews.

B-Three Solutions' custom expenses-tracking mobile application for United Steelworkers was released to users at the Tony Mazzocchi Center in late 2020.
