Green Heart Fridays
Join us to raise awareness through a nationwide, free art activation from the Arthritis Foundation during Arthritis Awareness Month.
May is Arthritis Awareness Month
Arthritis Awareness Month is a time to shine a light on the nearly 60 million people in the U.S. living with one of over 100 types of arthritis — the nation’s #1 cause of disability. It’s a moment to build understanding of arthritis, spark support, and lift up the voices of the arthritis community. Whether you live with arthritis, love someone who does, or simply want to show your support, your voice matters. Together, we can raise awareness and help drive our vision of a world where all people with arthritis are living a life without limits.
Join Us for Green Heart Fridays
This May, join our movement with Green Heart Fridays — a nationwide free art activation from the Arthritis Foundation. Every Friday in May, we're flooding social media and city streets with our Green Hearts, a powerful symbol of support, connection, and resilience in the face of arthritis.
Participate in three easy steps:
1. Follow us and our artist partners
Catch all the latest updates and artwork on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok — and follow our incredible artist partners in cities across the country.
2. Find a Green Heart
Online:
On Fridays in May, check our social media for weekly Green Heart graphics and unique green heart art created by our artist partners.
Around Town:
Each Friday in May, our artist partners will drop one piece of free original green heart art in a public space in their city. Find artists below, follow and share their Green Heart photos each week. If you're local, check out the weekly location to go find and claim your own Green Heart!
3. Share your support:
Like, comment and share our posts — or create your own Green Heart art! And if you find a piece of art placed by one of our artist partners, be sure to snap a photo and post on social media. Tag us @ArthritisFoundation and use #GreenHeartFridays and #ArthritisAwarenessMonth.
Join us and help build a Green Heart wave of arthritis awareness and connection during May!
