Connectivity
Program

The Federal Communications Commission has announced the wind-down of the ACP. No new enrollments will be accepted after February 7, 2024, although you may transfer your ACP benefit from another provider through the end of the program. Unless Congress approves additional funding, all ACP benefits will end when the current funding runs out in the next few months.

For more information about the status of the ACP and the wind-down process, please visit fcc.gov/acp or AffordableConnectivity.gov or call the FCC’s ACP Support Center at 877-384-2575.

Overview

What is the ACP?

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) was a federal program that provided internet service discounts for eligible customers. The ACP stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. The last month of the program is April 2024.

When the ACP ends, the discount will be removed from your account and you will be charged the undiscounted rate if you continue to receive the service, which will be subject to our general terms and conditions. If you currently receive an ACP discount and have a qualifying home internet service, you'll continue to get a Verizon Forward discount of up to $30 a month - even after the ACP ends. To learn more, visit our Verizon Forward page.

Verizon recognizes the importance of internet connectivity and was pleased to make the ACP subsidy available to our eligible customers. For more information about the status of the ACP, please visit fcc.gov/acp or AffordableConnectivity.gov or call the FCC's ACP Support Center at 877-384-2575.

How do I transfer my ACP benefit to Verizon?

Congress has not approved additional funding, therefore the last month of the program for Fios, 5G Home, LTE Home, and Mobile plans is April 2024.

What is the Verizon Forward discount on home internet?

Verizon Forward provides reduced-cost internet to eligible new or existing customers who qualified for Lifeline, SNAP, WIC, and other programs within 180 days of application or received a Federal Pell Grant within the past year. Qualifying customers receive a service discount on their Fios, 5G Home, or LTE Home Internet plan price. Learn more here.

What will happen to my services when the Affordable Connectivity Program expires?

When the ACP program ends, you can either continue on your plan at the price without the ACP subsidy or you may choose to end your services with Verizon. Be alert for notifications from Verizon.

If you currently receive an ACP discount and keep your home internet service, you'll continue to get a Verizon Forward discount of up to $30 a month - even after the ACP ends. To learn more, visit our Verizon Forward page.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have the ACP discount and have been receiving your service at no cost, the FCC may require that we disconnect your internet service at the end of the ACP program unless you affirmatively choose to keep it by providing written consent. Be alert for notifications from Verizon.

Who can I contact if I have a complaint?
