Helen Booth-Tobin is the communications director for the Ceres policy team. She leads communications planning, strategy, messaging, and outreach for the policy team, leveraging the influential voice of the business community to advance climate policy solutions at the state and federal levels.

Prior to joining Ceres, Helen was the policy and communications specialist at the Center for Energy and Environment in Minnesota, working to advance energy efficiency and clean energy in Minnesota through advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. Helen also directed the writing and editing of the organization’s research, engineering, and policy reports. Before CEE, Helen worked as a youth wilderness guide, leading canoeing and backpacking trips in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota, the Rocky Mountains, and Alaska’s Brooks Range.

Helen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in environmental policy from Barnard College in New York City.
