Founder story
In 2013 Filip Boksa launched King of Maids, a cleaning service in Chicago, IL, with his best friend from high school. To get ahead of their competition, they hired a company to build a software for them. The software helped them scale the business to over $5,000,000 in 3 years. In 2016, Boksa purchased the other 50% of the company and became the sole owner of King of Maids.

During this time, Boksa closely worked with the head developer, Vivek Prajapati. They formed a close bond, and after discovering there was a need for what they built, they decided to redesign the software and let others use it. In 2017, Prajapati and Boksa formed the company, and in 2018 BookingKoala was launched to the public.
Today BookingKoala is home to thousands of entrepreneurs worldwide and across many different industries. Boksa serves as the company’s CEO, while Prajapati serves as the CTO of BookingKoala. Together they are focused on making BookingKoala the perfect platform to grow a service business.

Our team is what makes BookingKoala a unique company. We are a diverse team that doesn’t discriminate. As long as someone is highly motivated to improve our products and services, they are welcomed with open arms. At the end of the day, our goal is to make the best product and provide the best service in the market.
It all began with just one idea and zero clients. However, it didn’t take long for users to recognize the products and services BookingKoala provides. The compliments and support of our customers quickly inspired the entire team. Today, our team members, no matter at what level, voluntarily check the Facebook group for feedback and compliments on their work. It’s a beautiful and inspiring feeling when someone uses a feature or module on which one person has worked so hard. It sparks creativity and motivates that individual to deliver even better products and services in the future.
