The Cloud-based contact centre market is continuing to grow at an incredible pace. According to the latest report from Research and Markets, the cloud contact centre space worldwide should experience a growth valued at around $28.6 billion by 2025. This means that the sector is facing a compound growth rate of 23.8%.

Some areas are seeing faster growth than others. For instance, the report suggests that large enterprises will grow by around 21.8% in the years leading up to 2025, representing a significant shift in the number of larger companies embracing the flexibility of the cloud. Up until recently, many larger businesses have struggled to take full advantage of the cloud because of the legacy investments that have forced them to remain true to their existing technology. However, that trend could be about to change.

Major Growth Areas Worldwide

Research and Markets believes that the United States will maintain a momentum of around 26.9% in the years to come. Within Europe, another area with significant sway over the global economy, Germany is set to add around $946.1 million to the region’s size over the next 5 to 6 years. Additionally, over $1.8 billion worth of projected demand in the area is set to come from emerging Eastern European markets too.

In Japan, Research and Markets predicts that large enterprises will reach a size of around $1.5 billion by the time we reach the end of 2025. As the second-largest economy in the world, China exhibits a significant potential to transform the marketplace in the coming years too, adding around $4.8 billion to the value of the cloud contact centre space.

Moving Forward into the Age of Cloud

The latest studies suggest that various macroeconomic factors and internal market forces are likely to shape the development and growth of demand patterns in emerging countries across the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific.

For some time now, we’ve seen the potential of cloud growing in various areas throughout the communications market. Now, it seems as though larger enterprises in all parts of the world are beginning to discover the benefits of cloud when it comes to delivering flexible and scalable experiences to their customers and agents. As today’s consumers become more demanding, the cloud gives businesses of all sizes the opportunity to provide the kind of meaningful moments their clients want most. It’s no wonder we’re seeing this area grow faster than ever before.
