Your team resists every strategic change. How do you break through their resistance?
If they are resistant bc they don’t know how to make the change or are worried about whether they can be successful at the end of the transition, be honest whether you agree. If you do, help them transition to new roles or firms with help and without shame. If you think they can be successful, help them in practical ways. If they are resistant because they don’t like change, give them a chance to realize that adaptation is quickly becoming a required skill for most firms and to get on board- and if they do, give practical support to help them learn and get comfortable with change. If they won’t or can’t change, part ways quickly, decisively, and with empathy and post-separation support.
