I skeptically bought 2 then 6 more when I saw how well they worked.

Solar panel receives enough ambient light under double thick tree canopies with zero direct sunlight all day, to charge the battery and retain charge all night.

Motion sensor picks up wide angle and (depending on angle of placement) more than 30' reach. Picks up birds and deer.

I set mine for night only with sound/light. It becomes active at perfect time of dusk, when rabbits and deer are active. The light lets you know it's there but not blinding. The siren is intolerable up close and can be clearly heard 100' away. Siren and flash run about 3 minutes on Every motion sensed, including leaves.

The waterproofing seems a little lacking, I've had one siren piezo (speaker) fail so I tend to point them slightly downward and put clear tape or silicone over the seams. But they have keep nearly everything from my gardens all year and scared away a trespasser. Will probably buy more in the future.

I purchased a set of these and tested pretty much all angles of approach.Worked great when i would get in the zone which was good coverage.Impressed i ordered two more .I have Blink camera system and was picking up raccoons on my pool cover.These Coons are very large 20-30 Lbs at least.These solar sound and light alarms did NOT even pick up anything -at least 3 coons at one time and no alarm.Good for people or deer and horses .Will be sending them back

I had purchased a couple of the Solar Powered Motion Sensor Detector Alarms for $25 a piece. They're basically a toy, "Warning! Warning! Protected Area," but they scare the deer away from our garden beds. They work great, but I thought they were a little spendy, so I looked for a cheaper alternative. I ordered the Solar Security Light Alarm,2 Pack for $35. And once again I learned that you get what you pay for. These things are just annoying. You have to get right in front of them and jump up and down to make them go off, and then they chirp away for an intolerable amount of time. I hung one to protect some sunflowers we were trying to start. The deer failed to walk up and nudge the security light with their noses, so it did nothing. It's hanging on a tree that a cancer and my sunflowers have all been eaten. I'd send them back, but I waited too long. The sensor that is still in the box will likely stay in the box forever. Maybe when I croak my kids will find it in my belongings, laugh at what a silly person I was, and toss it in the garbage. Long story short, don't buy these. There are better choices.

I purchased the siren lights to deter a great horned owl from entering our chicken coop at night and killing our chickens. I didn’t like any of the automatic door options and if the lights didn’t work I planned to drape my entire run with poultry netting (which would be very very difficult). Thankfully it looks like the light is doing the trick. I have it set to have the lights flash and the siren to sound with any night motion. I have tested it a few times and it works as it should. I don’t know if the owl is watching and has decided to stay away, but so far no more dead chickens since it has been installed. We only needed one camera by the coop opening so we mounted the second light on a wooden post and installed it in the garden to keep the deer from eating the peppers and tomatoes. That has worked too. We can hear the siren go off in the night and one time we went out to see a big buck walking away. I am pleased with this purchase. It seems to be a pretty easy fix to what was a terrible problem.
