Spark Power's "Be Powerful" Scholarship 2021

Spark Power is offering 6 scholarships — along with a position with the company at one of its many Ontario locations — to students and apprentices from underrepresented communities.
- 2 x 4-year scholarships for those joining our High Voltage team (For example: Powerline Technician; High Voltage Technician/Technologist)
- 2 x 5-year scholarships for those joining our Lower Voltage team (For example: 309A Licensed Electrician; 442 Electrician; Electrical Designer)
- 2 x 3-year scholarship for those joining our Renewables team (For example: Wind Technician; Solar Technician; Renewable Energy Technician)

This application is open from September 15, 2021, to October 15, 2021. Selected recipients will be notified by November 1, 2021.
Eligibility Requirements
- All applicants must be a Canadian citizen or have permanent residence status in Canada.
- All applicants must be willing and able to work in a physical capacity at a Spark Power site in Ontario.
- All applicants must be willing and able to participate in an interview with Spark Power representatives.
- All applicants must be pursuing education or a career in the electrical industry at any level, from apprenticeship to post-graduate and beyond.
This scholarship is open to people from underrepresented communities (i.e. BIPOC, women in trades, those living with disabilities, etc.). Whether you're in high school, college, or university, you're a newcomer to Canada, or you're searching for your second career, if you're interested in the trades, Spark Power wants to hear from you.
