Our Paris, TX facility in the U.S. has been manufacturing Kimberly-Clark products since 1983 and produces several baby and childcare products, including Huggies® diapers and Pull-Ups®. At the beginning of 2022, the Paris facility launched an effluent treatment system, allowing the facility to reuse more than 30,000 gallons of water daily! This major, water-saving achievement is one of the reasons Kimberly-Clark won the 2023 Global Industrial Water Reuse award for excellence in water stewardship and water recycling at our diaper manufacturing facilities. Yesterday, our Huggies® brand joined Baby2Baby and their ambassadors, Kelly Rowland, Olivia Wilde and Ciara, at their headquarters in Los Angeles, California. A multi-million-dollar grant from Huggies®, including donations of Huggies® diapers and wipes, will help Baby2Baby the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to expand their Maternal Health & Newborn Supply Kit program. The day was dedicated to packing kits filled with essential products to help mothers and babies in need. We are proud to be a part of this program with Baby2Baby and HHS as we continue our work to provide Better Care for a Better World.

Inspired by our global goal of advancing the well-being of 1 billion people in vulnerable and underserved communities, we recently partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in Latin America. Our team volunteered in seven countries through our regional volunteer program, #Changemakers. 150 employees connected with RMHC children and families, impacting more than 800 people. May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month, and we're excited to kick off the celebration with our Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX) employee resource group (ERG)! Throughout the month, APEX will host a series of events, including sessions with renowned guest speakers Dr. Nitin Deckha and Dr. Sarah-SoonLing Blackburn to enhance leadership skills, address microaggressions and implicit bias in the workplace and celebrate the rich culture of the AANHPI community. “At Kimberly-Clark, we are honored to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month, embrace diverse viewpoints and gain valuable insights into the AANHPI identity in today’s world," said Sang Wook L., APEX communication leader. "Together, we can create positive change and foster a more equitable and inclusive workplace for all.”

Congratulations to Christine D., named a 2024 Women MAKE Award honoree by The Manufacturing Institute - MI. With exemplary 30-plus years in supply chain, Christine has experience in all aspects of manufacturing, from leading the shop floor front lines as a manufacturing process engineer to her current role as the head of Kimberly-Clark's Global Manufacturing Enterprise Value Stream. Thank you, Christine, for being a role model for many women. Your work and unique leadership style are essential for building a more inclusive, equitable and diverse workforce!
