Last week, Tasmania marked a significant milestone in its clean energy transition with the launch of its first green hydrogen production facility. The Blue Economy CRC's Hydrogen Production and Research Facility at BOC South Pacific in Lutana has the capacity to produce 262 kg of green hydrogen per day, supporting industrial and transportation applications. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗖 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗱: A Capstone C65 #microturbine serves as the backbone of the facility’s DC microgrid, providing reliable, efficient, and low-emission power generation.
