Despite obstacles, Hispanics persist and thrive, achieving remarkable success in areas that were once considered off-limits. Hispanics drive America's economic prosperity and continuously drive innovation and economic growth. Hispanic Heritage Month is an incredible opportunity to speak with one voice. Hispanics need to be seen, heard, and valued. They are more likely to engage with individuals or organizations that actively invest in and celebrate their contributions to America, which drive prosperity, power, and progress. Our Hispanic Star Toolkit at www.hispanicstar.org is a source of inspiration, education, and celebration for all who seek to honor and uplift the Hispanic community.

How do you add a personal touch or a story to your speech conclusion without losing focus?
One thing I find helpful is to use metaphors that paint a picture and show a vision of what’s possible. Phrases like “what if” that can trigger the imagination of people. “What if we lived in a time where everyone would be seen, heard and valued. What if we could move from tolerance to acceptance. Understanding that we are all human”
