"A Trump U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve ‘Game-Changer’ Is Suddenly Hurtling Toward The Bitcoin Price" "The Bitcoin Act, introduced by U.S. senator Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) this year, calls for the creation of a strategic bitcoin reserve to reduce the U.S.'s spiraling, near-$36 trillion national debt by buying 1 million bitcoin over five years. In a keynote address at a July bitcoin conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Trump promised to make the U.S. the "crypto capital of the planet" and create a bitcoin strategic reserve using the bitcoin that the government holds. This marks a sharp rise from approximately 21% in 2023, and the trend shows no signs of slowing. 🚀 Why should ASIC distributors pay close attention to public miners? ✅ Access to capital through public markets, compared with private miners ✅A constant need to stay competitive to attract and retain investor confidence. The largest (by market cap) 15 U.S.-listed public Bitcoin miners collectively drove massive #ASIC acquisitions in 2024. What impact does the Instant Asset Write-off scheme have on small businesses? From my perspective this Federal Government initiative been one of the most significant policies over the last few years to stimulate economic growth. While the thresholds have changed a few times (at one point up to $150k), organisations have brought forward their spending to take advantage of these initiatives. At a time when there are economic headwinds and we need to be spending significantly more to decarbonise we need more pro-business policies like the IAWO!
