We’re beyond excited to share our very first industry benchmark report, The Future of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment 2025, presented by Findem. If you’re in #recruiting or #HR and feeling the pressure to keep up with what's new and what's next (and the competition) —you're definitely not alone. Here’s a sneak peek at what 930 of your recruiting peers had to say about what’s shaping our industry and where we’re all headed: *65% of respondents called out the “ineffective use of tech and recruitment analytics” as the biggest barrier to successful hiring. Time to rethink those tools? * 45% are gearing up to increase hiring efforts in 2025—and only 12% expect to scale back. *Over 40% are focused on upping their DEI game, calling diversity hiring a top priority—but still face hurdles like lack of qualified candidates and non-competitive compensation. Ready to see more of what to expect for recruiting in 2025 (and beyond)? Grab your copy here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gPDZ-FR5

New from Recruiter.com: check out our handy, dandy guide to deciphering what buzzwords about AI in recruiting and HR really mean, by Matt Charney, who might not know a lot about artificial intelligence, but is our resident expert on real stupidity. #Recruiting #HRTech #AI
Having sat through more AI product pitches than any human should endure, I've created this Transformers-themed survival manual to help you navigate #Transform2025 without accidentally spending your whole H1 budget on glorified keyword matchers masquerading as "semantic search." Remember: in the words of Optimus Prime, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings" - including freedom from AI buzzword BS. Please to enjoy...and hope to see you in Vegas!

See you in Vegas?
Honored to have Recruiter.com as an official media partner of Transform 2025! Here's a preview of what to expect from an HR conference that's actually worth attending (sorry, SHRM). New, by me: https://lnkd.in/gVEUxMFm

Companies say they want: - The best talent - High performers - Results driven teams Then they filter candidates by: * Degrees that don’t matter * Buzzwords * Quotas instead of qualifications You can’t hire for performance while optimizing for optics. Pick one.

Step 1: Acquire SaaS business for pennies on the dollar. Step 2: Cut the bloated “growth at all costs” spend. Step 3: Integrate, optimize, and actually make a profit. Old SaaS playbook: Raise $50M, burn $100M, hope for an exit. New SaaS playbook: Buy distressed assets, fix them and print cash. VCs hate it. Operators love it.

'AI creates more jobs than it replaces' Agree? Disagree? Comment below 👇
Everyone loves to panic about AI replacing jobs. But AI Isn’t Taking Your Job. It’s Creating Millions More. The reality: for every job AI automates it’s creating 5 more in places most people aren’t even looking. Take data centers. The AI boom isn’t just about smarter software it’s about massive physical infrastructure. Billions are pouring into new data centers, energy grids and chip manufacturing, and they don’t build themselves. - AI models need data centers, which means we need construction workers, electricians, HVAC specialists and engineers to build and maintain them. - AI runs on power-hungry chips which means we need electrical grid upgrades, battery storage tech and new energy projects. - AI isn’t magic: it’s software, firmware and hardware, which means demand for AI engineers, chip designers, and cybersecurity experts is skyrocketing. We’ve seen this before. The internet didn’t "replace" jobs it created entire industries. AI is no different. Yes, some jobs will change. Yes, some roles will be automated. But if you’re willing to adapt, learn and pivot, the opportunities in AI-driven industries are bigger than ever. People panic about losing what they have. The smartest people? They look at what’s being built and figure out where they fit in or they build the future. The AI revolution isn’t taking away work, it's just shifting where the work gets done. And for a lot of people that might be on a data center construction site instead of an office.

The NYT got this right. TikTok isn't a normal M&A situation this is a complex and unique transaction. As I said earlier this week it's all or nothing in terms of data privacy. Unless we buy all of TikTok global which could work too and moved all the servers /data to the US.
