The Characteristics of Successful Entrepreneurs From Islamic Perspective2013 •
Islamic economic system is a comprehensive and everlasting field. It includes the whole production, distribution and consumption process according to the rules and principles of Islam that need to be uphold for justice and balance, freedom and benefit, religious duty and life requirements in the world. As such, entrepreneurship which is the pulse to that system is not only an effort to gain profit through expanding capital or means to successful exchange of necessities. In fact, it is a form of social service in building the civilization and future of the society. Thus, through its philosophy and holistic concept, Muslim entrepreneur‟s personality should be based on al-Din that serves as the fundamental interpretation of human‟s behavior as to ensure that changes will not stray them from the teachings of Islam. The personality of Muslim entrepreneur should be different from the western perspective because they not only should possess universal characteristics that across racial, cultural or geographical limitation, but also need to integrate these characteristics with the spiritual elements.
Entrepreneurship is a part of Islamic economics and businesses. Entrepreneurship is the pursuit of opportunity beyond resources controlled. Prophet Muhammad SAW and his companions are examples of this. There are a lot of Muslims that are successful entrepreneurs in the world and Islam always invites all Muslims to be an innovative and active entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, Muslims have lost their confidence, their characters and souls through the time. This research aims to analyse the characteristic of entrepreneurs from al-Quran and al-Sunah. This research also concludes that Islam is not opposite with entrepreneurship. Islam warmly invites all Muslims to be entrepreneurs in their life by given the rules that should be followed by all Muslims which are derive from al-Quran and al-Hadis.
Research Handbook on Entrepreneurship and Leadership
Islamic Insights on Entrepreneurial Leadership2018 •
This chapter reviews different theoretical approaches to understanding entrepreneurial leadership in an Islamic context in order to determine the best means of researching it more rigorously, and of promoting more of it. Neo-institutional, market-based and culturally informed theory are proposed as better able to explain and develop Islamic entrepreneurial leadership. Several embryonic models of Islamic entrepreneurial leadership are also critiqued.
The present paper is the core of a study carried out based on a survey of 113 Moroccan entrepreneurs belonging to the new generation, not only because of its age (25-45 years), but also and especially in particular its citizens' behavior, economic patriotism, investment in risk areas and contribution to the national effort of innovation, training and modernization of industrial relations. According to this study, we can understand the roots of the Moroccan elite, and the new economic elite in its relation to the stakes of the reform that has lived in modern Morocco, and analyze the mutations. Each criteria has been crowned by a series of testimonies collected from a sample of entrepreneurs and representatives of the general administration, although belonging to various geographical, ethnic, social and professional horizons, but most often animated by an only goal: to help build a winning Morocco. At the end of this study, We have sketched out a model of the new generation of entrepreneurs "The elitist entrepreneur." It would be pretentious to clarify the realities of entrepreneurship in Morocco are of great complexity. Introduction The act of entrepreneurship is vital as much as it constitutes a formidable way of self-realization and promotes a more collective movement of economic wealth creation. This paper aims to explore and deepen the problem of the current role of the Moroccan "Entrepreneur" faced with constraints or opportunities determined by a political context largely defined by a Moroccan state of Makhzen.

Entrepreneurship in through Islam PerspectiveJournal of Business Ethics
Entrepreneurship from an Islamic PerspectiveResearch about the role of religion in entrepreneurship and more broadly management is sparse. In this conceptual article we complement existing entrepreneurship theory by examining entrepreneurship from an Islamic perspective (EIP). EIP is based on three interconnected pillars: the entrepreneurial, socio-economic/ethical and religio-spiritual. We outline how Islam shapes entrepreneurship at the micro-, meso- and macro-level, indicate how Islam may be considered an entrepreneurial religion in the sense that it enables and encourages entrepreneurial activity, review research streams interlinking Islam with entrepreneurship and management and outline promising research approaches.
