Dr. Karen Machin (DVM, PhD) is a resident in animal behaviour, a veterinary researcher, a lifelong animal owner and a founder of New Hope Dog Rescue in Saskatoon, Sask.

Dr. Karen Machin is an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Machin teaches developmental anatomy, ecosystem health, respiratory physiology and anesthesia, and analgesia pharmacology at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
