Glenn’s Mission
Meet the Rider

In 2015, I was diagnosed with PKD. While I have the disease, I consider myself fortunate as I am in a position to get excellent medical advice, stay active and make healthy nutritional choices. In my case, the disease is progressing slowly. I’ve seen how awful this disease can become and I’ve witnessed friends suffer without a cure.

That’s why it’s my mission to raise more than $500,000 specifically to support the PKD Foundation with critically-needed funding for research into the disease and to raise awareness of PKD.

Beginning in May 2022, I will be riding my bike approximately 5,300 miles across the United States to raise awareness and significant donations for Polycystic Kidney Disease. I plan to start the ride in Northern California and over the course of roughly 100 days of riding, make my way across the Rockies, through the Plains to Kansas City, up to Chicago and down to Washington, DC. Then, I’ll ride up the eastern seaboard and end my adventure in Boston. It is quite an undertaking but I’m hoping with the help of all of you, I’ll gain the support, resources, and encouragement to make a difference in the lives of millions of people with PKD.
