Who Gets Care in a Crisis?
A Bloomberg Equality Virtual Briefing

As the United States emerges as the latest epicenter of the fast-spreading COVID-19 pandemic, a spotlight has been put on the challenges of equitable care in the U.S. healthcare system. While coronaviruses do not discriminate by wealth or privilege, access to adequate healthcare in the best of times is uneven, and the COVID-19 crisis is pushing capacities in many locations to their limits.

How can we ensure those without adequate insurance receive equitable access and treatment during this pandemic? How are decisions being made on where to deploy precious medical assets? We will hear from leaders on the frontlines of health care, government and policy on what can be done to protect and serve some of our most vulnerable in our population.
