January 29-30, Paris, #H2, #decarbonization, dozens of conferences, looming news coming from the USA... food for a lot of conversations. Here are some key subjects faced: - Certification schemes and strong regulation, slowing private sector decisions. - Global competitiveness vs. hydrogen economic sustainability: the latter should be kept in mind if the EU doesn't want to worsen the former. - Hydrogen mobility seems to take the lead among the different project sectors moving to H2. - Impactful hydrogen deals are needed across the board, synergies between them will maximize the effect. We are here to help!

𝗭𝗔𝗛𝗬𝗥 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 - 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 At EXOGEN Hydrogen Solutions, we are working closely with the exceptional team at Trakia University-Stara Zagora to establish Bulgaria's first #HydrogenValley. Through leading technologies and our innovative business models, this initiative is set to become a showcase for the future of clean energy applications in Europe. The ZAHYR Hydrogen Valley has secured significant grant funding for project implementation from the Clean Hydrogen Partnership at the European Commission and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, Bulgaria. This project will integrate hydrogen production, storage, and distribution with cutting-edge solutions to establish a sustainable regional value chain. Centered on Stara Zagora, a strategic logistic hub in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula, ZAHYR will demonstrate the versatility and viability of green hydrogen as the clean fuel of the future. The project aims to improve air quality, reduce CO2 emissions, and generate economic welfare through innovative hydrogen technology applications and their everyday use cases. The ZAHYR Hydrogen Valley is a prime example of how we can bring hydrogen technologies from “niche to scale,” presenting sustainable business cases and contributing to the wider acceptance of hydrogen technologies. By fostering regional “hydrogen ecosystems,” we can speed up the development of the wider hydrogen sector in the EU. Given the climate objectives outlined in the ‘Fit for 55’ package, REPowerEU, and the Green Deal Industrial Plan, Hydrogen Valleys are a catalyst for actions that significantly leverage public investments to attract substantial private sector participation. Together, we will make the hydrogen economy a reality! #HydrogenValleys #CleanEnergy #Sustainability #Innovation #Europe #Bulgaria #GreenHydrogen #HydrogenEurope #CleanHydrogenPartnership

Last week we attended a successful European Hydrogen Week Key takeaways: 1- Electricity needs to become cheaper (<50€/MWh) all over Europe if electrolysed renewable hydrogen is to become a competitive source of energy… … and the EU is to achieve its internal production targets, (10 Mtpa by 2030) 2- Linked to the above, without cheap and abundant renewable hydrogen, industries won’t be able to part from fossil fuels, and vehicle fleets won’t have an economically credible alternative to diesel/gasoline. 3- H2 needs a common and pragmatic EU-wide regulatory framework, not barriers, (ie. common regulation on safety, transport, production, etc.) 4- Member states should design a demand pathway to allow the private offtake market taking off. 5- Technology is ready and improving its efficiencies: #ammoniacracking, #electrolyzers 6- Vehicles are on their way: Toyota Motor Corporation, Renault, Iveco Group and many more. 7- H2 infrastructure is on its way: H2Med, Gasunie, Snam S.p.A., Cadent Gas Limited, and more to come… Should you want to explore solutions for your company, direct message us!

Vale + Green Energy Park | Global = concrete industrial decarbonization case. Congratulations to all the team that has made this possible. Ad maiora!
Vale and Green Energy Park | Global have joined forces to deliver decarbonization solutions to the global steel industry. Today, at an event in Brussels, the partnership agreement was presented to key players in the steel industry, including The European Steel Association (EUROFER), Hydrogen Europe, and high-ranking representatives of the European Commission and European Parliament. MEP Hildegard Bentele delivered a key note, emphasizing the importance of the Global Gateway program for supporting European decarbonization policy objectives and to build lasting partnerships with strategically important countries such as Brazil. In this context, companies like Vale are playing a crucial role. Vale is a leading mining company that seeks to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world. Through this strategic partnership the companies will work on a green hydrogen production facility to supply a future Mega Hub in Brazil, an industrial complex aimed at manufacturing low-carbon steel products. The Mega Hub is a game changer. This joint initiative provides an open platform for international partnerships in which global steel companies can source and produce hot-briquetted iron (HBI) in Brazil. Green HBI produced in Brazil can secure the competitiveness of European steelmakers, while also enabling their ambitious decarbonization targets for a sustainable future. For more information about our Green Steel platform initiative please refer to the joint press release - link in the comments. #HBI #GreenSteel #Decarbonization #MegaHub #NetZero

Last week we visited the Ammogen project in Tyseley Energy Park, in Birmingham, UK. H2SITE have done a great job installing the first-of-a-kind ammonia-to-hydrogen installation, capable of producing 200 kg/day of H2. With Ammonia consistently lowering it's production price and shifting to its renewable version, we have a solid business case for our customers who whish/need to decarbonize their operations before 2030. #greenhydrogen #greeammonia #decarbonization EXOGEN Hydrogen Solutions Green Energy Park | Global
