Great prof! I rocked his class!

Good prof, really like his perspective on the adviser/client relationship. Stressed the important of working with the client and sticking to their prospectus.

Loved his class, can't wait to take another one of his next semester!

I took several classes from Darryl and all of them were good. He doesn't focus heavily on the textbook so if you attend the lectures and study the slides you will be fine. Makes everything more relevant with real world examples. Enjoyable class to attend and interesting if you are interested in the subject matter. If you see his name, sign up!

Lots of real world experience of how the investment industry works. All the stuff you never get out of a book. I see lots of complaints that there is theory/cases on the exam from the text that he never uses in class. If you are in a 400 level class and don't know how to do a case study and read your text god help you. How did you get this far...

Darryl is a great guy but an awful prof. His lectures are all real world stuff which is awesome, but his tests are all from the textbook/ stuff you never even learned in class. Takes forever to answer emails and the final was god awful. Really great guy but if you can take 495 from someone else definitely do so!!

He's amazing. It's difficult to describe the way the decision to take one class can change your entire life, but it can and he has.

great prof.! simple midterm nothing tech. just knw how to use fin. calc. u get 80 in midterm, then final just analyze a case and few mcqs. whateva u analyze wrong or right, he is really considerate. got 81 and i am not a hard working student. enjoy life, beer, party and decent amt of study. u r getting 70-85 ezly. take it

This prof is not for me. His approach to teaching consists of lecturing about his experience and current market conditions. He hardly uses textbook materials. Given this, I didn't learn anything in this class. Also, a large portion of the marking is based on case studies which he fails to teach you how to do. He is a good guy but not a good prof.

This prof is destroyed my finance dream. He is a biased marker(get the point).

Darryl is the Sh*t!!! the guy brings real world experience to the class that not only makes the class more interesting but is invaluable for anyone thinking of pursuing a career in finance.

Great class, great prof

Very highly recommended. Darryl is very knowledgabe in the area of finance and taught the one class I didn't force myself to stay awake during. Clearly a star in the faculty.

He is a very nice professor. Enjoyed being In his class very much. He is my finance hero. I want him to father my first and last baby.

Other profs for this class will use a case based method where you can essentially take what you learned in Bus 395 and apply it in the role of a financial analyst. If you are more comfortable with lecture based than Daryl will do a fantastic job.

Love, love, LOVE him! Makes me want to eat, sleep, and breathe finance. Why aren't there more chilie peppers for this man??? C'mon ppl!
