STORY

It’s Saturday, September 28, 2228, the dawn of the Third Age of Humankind. Planet Earth is dying.  WWIII is a memory at this point, but the effects still reverberate through space. With the Earth’s atmosphere quickly becoming uninhabitable, mankind has begun to colonize the surrounding solar system. New societies rise and fall overnight, and conflict over asteroid mining rights is a way of life. Amidst this interstellar turmoil, Space Cadet Fran Celeste arrives at the Icarus Transfer Point, stationed within Mars’ orbit. She is set to discover her identity and family history as she embarks on various training experiences and quests.

The Space Station Icarus design draws inspiration from the Zócalo marketplace aboard the space station in Babylon 5 and the Promenade Deck of the space station in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
