When does The Pool open at GSR?
The Main pool and the Main deck will be open Friday, May 3rd and will remain open during the Summer season. The Infinity Pool is open year-round when weather conditions permit.
Is the Main Pool heated?
Yes, the Main Pool is heated and set at a comfortable 82 degrees.
Can we bring in outside food and beverages?
Beverage service is available every day. No outside food or drinks are permitted in The Pool area. Exceptions may include baby formula, bottled water (plastic container), & Starbucks Drinks and Fat Tuesday Daiquiris. Beverage service is available from 10:00am to close daily as of May 3rd. Beverage service is available from 11:00am.
Do you serve food?
Yes, The Pool offers a fantastic, updated food menu this season with delicious, delectable items.
Are the food trucks going to be in operation this year?
Yes, we are excited to announce that we will have the food trucks in operation after May 5th, 2024.
Will the Ice Rink be transformed into a roller rink for the Summer?
No, this will not happen in 2024.
Will the Flowrider surf activation happen this summer?
Unfortunately, this has been postponed to 2025, please stay tuned.
Can a non-hotel guest buy a day pass?
Yes, currently we do offer day passes. Depending on occupancy levels, GSR hotel guests and Infinity Rewards players receive priority.
Is there bottle service at The Pool?
Yes, bottle service is available at all Cabana’s; the server will assist with ordering and set up for this very special experience. To reserve a Cabana or inquire about pricing call 775-789-5399 or email PoolVIP@GrandSierraResort.com.
Is it free to enjoy the daytime pool with our GSR room key?
Yes, current GSR hotel guests with an active room key are admitted to The Pool for no charge. All guests under age 14 years MUST be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
Are the hot tubs open?
Hot tubs will be open for our guests year-round. Maximum occupancy is 12 guests per hot tub (lower deck), 8 guests per hot tub (Infinity deck). Hours of operation 10:00am–10:00pm in the Summer season and TBD off season.
How can we reserve a VIP Cabana or a VIP Daybed?

How do I reserve an umbrella?
Umbrella reservations are based on availability (first-come, first-served basis) for use that day by speaking with The Pool team at the towel desk, located near the front entrance of The Pool. Umbrella rental pricing is $25 Monday–Thursday and $40 Friday–Sunday.
Do Security check bags upon entry to The Pool?
Yes, all bags brought into The Pool area are subject to inspection by Security. Guest Safety is our primary concern. Bringing in alcohol, food and weapons from the outside is strictly prohibited.
Can kids be at The Pool without their parents?
All children 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I leave and come back from the daytime pool?
You may leave and return from the daytime pool; however, you must provide/show your room key again to enter or a receipt if you are not a hotel guest.
Is the Infinity pool open for all ages?
The Infinity Pool is open for guests 21+.
