Founded in Calgary in 2011, Equium Group is a fully integrated real estate organization specializing in condominium, commercial and residential real estate services. Our scope of services includes property management, development, construction, marketing, leasing and property investment.

Our current portfolio under management is valued in excess of 4.7 billion dollars. Equium Group won the Consumer’s Choice Award for top Property Management company in Southern Alberta 2019 through 2024. Equium Group was also named one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies by Maclean’s Magazine, Canadian Business Magazine and The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business in 2018 through 2023. Furthermore, our organization was also ranked for six consecutive years on the Best Workplaces in Canada List which is featured annually in the Globe and Mail.

Our clients include individual owners, high net worth investors and some of Canada’s largest real estate private equity firms, whose assets exceed 7 billion dollars. Our organization currently manages over 7.5% of all condominiums in Calgary, in which over 35,000 Calgarians live, work and play in Equium managed properties. Our condominium corporations under management range from 2 units to 800 units, encompassing over 15,000 units under management.

  1. 2011 Highlights

    Equium Group was founded.

    Targets multi-family acquisitions within the inner-city of Calgary.

    In-house management of principals’ personal rental portfolio.

    7 million dollars in assets under management.

  2. 2012 Highlights

    Develops inner-city residential properties featuring legal basement suites.

    City of Calgary begins tracking approved legal suites, Equium legalizes suite number 121 in the City’s database precursor to the Secondary Suites Registry.

As a corporate best practice, Equium Group certifies all of its managed buildings under the BOMA BEST Green Rating System. BOMA BEST certification is a key component towards Equium Group’s management strategy. The program is administered by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) through a third-party assessor granting green certification to buildings which are professionally managed emphasizing environmental stewardship.
